In Lineage 2 Revolution, you are given the choice as a Human warrior (link to Human Warrior guide) between two Secondary Classes at Level 31 – Human Paladin or Human Warlord. The Human Warlord is the more damage-centric class of the two, Human Paladin being a traditional tank (link to Human Paladin guide). This guide focuses on the Human Warlord, which can wield Dual Swords or Spear/Polearm dependent on your preference. However, it is recommended to use Spears/Polearms you can increase its attack value through your Passive Skills.

Active Skills

Judgement

Human Warlord Guide - Judgement

The Warlord swings the weapon in a large arc that damages and knocks down nearby enemies. This is your bread and butter crowd control skill, which allows you to dish out damage whilst the enemies are unable to react. It is also an Area-of-Effect skill, which would prove to be useful when you are grinding multiple mobs.

Thunderstorm

Human Warlord Guide - Thunderstorm

You create a bolt of lightning that damages and stuns multiple surrounding enemies. Similar to the previous, this also acts as another crowd control skill that stuns enemies for two seconds. A valuable skillset when it comes to grinding or powerleveling.

Active Buff Skill

Wide Sweep

Human Warlord Guide - Wide Sweep

You temporarily increase your attack speed and the number of enemies struck by your weapon attacks. This is arguably the BEST skill for warriors, especially for purposes of grinding. It last for a total of 15 seconds, with a cooldown of 30 seconds. It grants you the potential to damage twice the amount of monsters per swing of your weapon, make sure to have this in your skill wheel when power leveling.

Passive Buff Skills

Revenge

You get a 10% chance to gain a buff that increases your P. ATK (Physical Attack) when attacking. Skilling this point increases extent to which your P. ATK is buffed when ‘Revenge’ is active. Increments in skill points do not lead to a higher chance of the buff occurring though. The 10% activation chance sounds insignificant at first glance. However, when you strike up to 6 enemies with Wide Sweep buff active, you will be proccing the buff often. The buff has no cooldown and last 6 seconds.

Force Mastery

This increases your Attack Power when wielding a Spear/Polearm. Sadly, this only affects Spears and Polearms. You get up to 3.04% increment at Level 30, which is rather negligible (unless you have an SR weapon at maximum level). If you happen to get a decent Dual Swords in the Early Game, do use the Dual Swords over the Spear/Polearm.

Consider switching to the Spear/Polearm if you obtain one with a significantly higher attack rating, and have Skill Points to invest into Force Mastery. Otherwise using the Dual Swords is perfectly fine as a Human Warlord.

Attack Aura

This increases the attack power for you and your party members in your vicinity. It provides a considerable attack boost in a party (+400 atk boost at Level 1). This helps increase your party’s damage output in dungeons.

Skill Build Recommendations and Guide

Skill cooldowns are fairly long in Lineage 2 Revolution. Hence, it would be wise to prioritize passive skills which boost the offensive capabilities of your basic attacks. Elite Dungeons are an integral part of the game, so your Attack Aura party buff would certainly help your group farm content faster. However, note that if you are looking to use Dual Swords, there is no Passive Skill to buff them as a Human Warlord. As such, continue to invest in the basic Human Warrior passives (see guide to Human Warrior) if you equip Dual Swords – prioritize Warrior Weapon Mastery, followed by Heavy Armory Mastery.

When it comes to Active Skills, you should prioritize levelling Wide Sweep over the other two skills. This enables you to farm faster by allowing you to strike more enemies per swing, in addition to an increment in your attack speed.

How Good is Human Warlord in Lineage 2 Revolution?

Human Warlord is a great starter class. If you are starting Lineage 2 Revolutione for the first time, many would recommend you to go for the Human Warlord as a Secondary Class. It has superior mobbing abilities and buffs damage of your allies in party content. As such, Human Warlord is geared for both solo content and party content. You will find it a breeze to complete the main storyline.
