Dark Elf Mystic Guide: Skill Build

The Dark Elf race comes with a stat distribution that leans towards high base Attack and Crit. Rate stats, with moderate MP and Evasion. However, he is lacking in the HP and Def department. A Dark Elf Mystic would benefit from the high attack which allows him to push out more damage. Upon leveling to Level 31, the Dark Elf Mystic can choose between two Secondary Classes – the Spellhowler (DPS) or the Shillien Elder (Healer). This guide focuses on playing as a Dark Elf Mystic from Level 1 – 31, and the optimal skill build that you should following.

Active Skills

Flame Strike

Dark Elf Mystic Guide - Flame Strike

Launches a flaming ball to deal massive explosion damage and knockdown enemies. This is an area of effect attack (AoE) that inflicts knockdown for additional crowd control. The ability to disable multiple targets at once will be a great help whilst training.

Wind Strike

Dark Elf Mystic Guide - Wind Strike

Brings forth a gust of wind that penetrates through enemies in a straight line to attack. This is yet another ability that inflicts good damage to multiple targets, and does help to expedite your training speed.

Passive Skills

Dark Elven Potential

Their splendid battle senses grant them higher Crit. Rate when attacking enemies. This Dark Elf racial will help you to land critical strikes more often, which does result in higher damage output and training speed.

Mage Weapon Mastery

Increases Magic Attack when a staff is equipped. This is a critical skill that a Dark Elf Mystic should invest into. It is able to bolster your attack by a steady amount for every level you obtain. Do note that Dark Elf Mytics can only equip staves anyway, so you naturally obtain the benefits of this passive.

Robe Armor Mastery

This passive increases Attack Damage when Robe Armor is equipped. This buff can stack up to 4 times. Each slot of Robe Armor you equip contributes to 1 stack of the buff. This passive will eventually allow you to deal more damage as a DPS class (Spellhowler), or to heal more effectively as a healer (Shillien Elder).

Skill Build Recommendations and Guide

During the early phases of the game, you will find yourself with sufficient skill points to level up all your skills to their maximum levels. However, this is an approach that you should not follow, as it is imperative that you save skill points for investing into Secondary Class skills. Upon choosing your Secondary Class, you will realize each level of skill costs at least 110 skill points.

We recommend that you level both your Passives, Mage Weapon Mastery and Robe Armor Mastery to the maximum level. Pertaining to Active skills, you should keep them at only Level 1, unless you find yourself lacking the damage to complete storyline content. Make sure you do not level your Active skills beyond Level 3. The skill points you save here will come in very handy in the late game.

How Good is Dark Elf Mystic in Lineage 2 Revolution?

The Dark Elf Mystic is able to dish out pretty decent damage as a Dark Elf comes with relatively good offensive stats. Regardless of whether you eventually opt to be a Spellhowler or Shillien Elder in Lineage 2 Revolution, your high offensive stats will allow you to put out more DPS and heals. You should find little trouble soloing content until Level 31 as a Dark Elf Mystic in Lineage 2 Revolution.
