Human Bishop Guide: Skill Build

Upon reaching Level 31 as a Human Mystic, you unlock two Secondary Classes after completing the relevant quests in Lineage 2 Revolution. A Human Mystic can choose between one of the Secondary Classes – the Sorcerer (Damage Dealer) or Bishop (Healer). This guide focuses on the healer class, Bishop. The Human Bishop is a valuable asset to any party in Lineage 2 Revolution. He provides the much needed health regeneration, as well as defensive boosts that increase the party’s survivability. In addition, the Bishop is relatively tanky, as his passive skill allows him to consumes mana points to mitigate damage taken.

Active Skills

Divine Punishment

Human Bishop Guide - Divine Punishment

Creates a holy explosion to deal damage and knockdown enemies within the area. This is the only damaging skill that you get as a Human Bishop. Thankfully, the damage on this skill is pretty significant. This also acts as your crowd control ability, as it deals a knockdown of 2.5 seconds to targets in the affected area.

Major Heal

Human Bishop Guide - Major Heal

The Bishop heals you and your party members around you with holy powers to recover HP. This skill allows you and party members to overcome content that they are unable to solo or survive on their own. The long cooldown of 15 seconds before you can reuse health potions implies that health potions are not sufficient to sustain lower level player through damage taken during challenging content. The Bishop can keep his party alive with Major Heal for extended periods of time.

Passive Skill

Divine Link

Increases the defense of your party members depending on the number of party members available. This is a great survivability buff for your team. Level 1 grants 5% additional defense. This translates into additional 25% defense boost on a full party.

Mana Shield

Some of the damage taken will reduce part of your mana instead of your health. At Level 1, your mana absorbs 5% of the damage taken to your MP, which aids your survivability at the expense of mana. This skill might apply more pressure on your mana consumption but you should be fine as the Major Heal skill helps in regenerating lost mana.

Boost HP

Increases Max. HP of you and your party members in the area. This further bolsters survivability of the party. Potions and Major Heal replenish more health as they work based off percentage of your max health. The Health bonus will also minimise the occurences where you and your party gets 1-shot by strong bosses.

Skill Build Recommendations and Guide

Skill points are difficult to acquire and the skill points per skill level for all Secondary Classes are expensive – these cost 110 Skill Points at Level 1. Free-to-Play Players who do not wish to spend money at all need to follow the most optimal guide. Below is our recommended optimal skill build.

First of all, you want to continue adding skill points into Mage Weapon Mastery and Robe Mastery, since they both give you a significant amount of attack bonuses. Followed by that, add your skill points into Mana Shield and Major Heal. If you often train in parties, it is recommended to invest skill points into Divine Link. If you have excess skill points that you want to use, use it onto Boost HP.

How Good is Human Bishop in Lineage 2 Revolution?

The Human Bishop is a highly sought after party player that can dish out respectable damage with his Divine Punishment skill. Despite lacking in the crowd control department, he is more than capable of soloing most content due to his supporting abilities. Through regenerating Health Points, you find yourself not using much potions at all – saving you some Adena. However, the Bishop is still weak to many attacks. Hence, positioning is important when fighting tougher bosses.
