When you reach Level 31 and completed the 7 Class Change quests, a Dwarf Mystic can choose choose between two Secondary Classes. You can choose to become a Dwarf Battle Mage (DPS Wizard) or a Sage (Healing Support). This guide will focus on the optimal skill build for Dwarf Sage in Lineage 2 Revolution.

The Dwarf Sage is a support class damage dealer, who specializes in healing party members and bolstering their defenses. She is equipped with abilities that allow her to exert crowd control, as well as providing HP regeneration and healing to party members. The Dwarf Sage can be perceived as more of a supportive healer versus the Elf Elder, which is more of an offensive healer in Lineage 2 Revolution

Active Skills

Divine Clap

Dwarf Sage Guide - Divine Clap

The Dwarf Sage slams the ground to deal damage and stuns enemies within the area. This ability has a 2.5 seconds stun duration, in addition to dealing continuous attacks of 5 hits. This is best used when enemy foes are forced to stay within an affected area.

Divine Protection

Dwarf Sage Guide - Divine Protection

You restore the all party members’ HP (including yourself), in addition to increasing Def. This is the most iconic and important skill of a Dwarf Sage. This ability grants health restoration, as well as increased Defense for 10 seconds. It has a cooldown of 22 seconds. Do note that the healing values scale along with your Atk. Power.

Great Vitality

Dwarf Sage Guide - Greater Vitality

The Dwarf Sage increases the Max HP all party members. This buff will last for 180 seconds, whilst having a cooldown of 40 seconds. This ability greatly enhances the efficiency of consuming potions, since potions restore a percentage of HP. As such, the ability plays a vital role in increasing a party’s survivability.

Passive Skills

Lucky Heal

Gains a chance to recover you and your party’s HP when attacking. This skill has a 15% chance of activation, healing flat values of HP when it procs. Relying on this skill to heal is insufficient, but it helps to heal your party and survive better when training. Increases the party’s overall survivability.

Fortify

You increase the HP recovery rate of all part members. This ability synergizes well with Divine Protection, as it boosts healing output and improves potion effectiveness.

Boost HP

This skill automatically increases the Max HP of you and all party members in the vicinity. This ability is critical to a Dwarf Sage, as it allows you to survive longer while training.

Skill Build Recommendations and Guide

Make sure you invest a single skill point into every ability at the start of Lineage 2 Revolution. This first level provides immense value for a mere 110 skill points. Subsequently, you should be prioritizing the leveling of Passive skills over Active skills.

For Passive Skills, make sure to continue leveling Mage Weapon Mastery and Robe Armor Mastery. Both these passives will continue to grant you a steady increase in Atk. Power, which in turn results in higher healing output. Following this, make it a point to level Lucky Heal and Fortify as both provide respectable synergy with your healing abilities.

For Active Skills, make sure you level Divine Protection first, followed by Great Vitality. This is because as a healer class, your primary job will be to ensure the party’s sustainability.

How Good is Dwarf Sage in Lineage 2 Revolution

?

The Dwarf Sage excels in Lineage 2 Revolution Party Play, as she is not as efficient at tanking hits. She is the most sought after role in a party, as she provides the necessary defensive buffs and some crowd control. Her Divine Protection is integral in keeping the party alive, ensuring that the frontliners are kept healthy at all times.

However, for Solo play, the Dwarf Sage would encounter some trouble in PVP and killing of Storyline bosses. This is because as a support class, she lacks the damage output to consistently kill bosses and foes in PvP.
