Human Mystic Guide: Lineage 2 Revolution Skill Build

Humans are the most balanced class in Lineage 2 Revolution. This grants you the option of making any class work – Warrior, Rogue or Mystic. Mystic is a class that naturally lacks survivability. The evenly distributed stats of the Human Race helps you survive in battle longer, without losing out too much on attack. When you have reached level 31 and completing the 7 quests for Class Change, the Human Mystic can choose 2 Secondary Classes –  Sorcerer or Bishop. The Sorcerer is the DPS class for the Mystic, whilst the Bishop is the Support class. This guide will focus on the skill build for level 1 – 31 as a Human Mystic in Lineage 2 Revolution.

Active Skills

Flame Strike [Staff Only]

Human Mystic Guide - Flame Strike

The Mystic launches a flaming ball to deal massive explosion damage and knockdown enemies. This is the only crowd control (CC) you have as a Human Mystic in the early game. This Area-of-Effect (AoE) skill allows you to hit multiple targets at one time.  Be sure to take advantage of this CC skill in the Arena to dish out extra damage while enemy is knocked down.

Wind Strike [Staff Only]

Human Mystic Guide - Wind Strike

The Mystic brings forth a gust of wind that penetrates through enemies. Yet another AoE skill that allows you to hit multiple monsters, especially if they are lined up. Aiming the skill well allows you to increase damage output, expediting your rate of exerience gain and leveling.

Energy Bolt [Staff Only]

Human Mystic Guide - Energy Bolt

The Mystic launches a penetrating ball of energy to attack distant enemies in the front. This is a basic skill which is good to have when it deals more damage in the earlier levels. However, note that it falls off in terms of damage late game.

Passive Skills

Human Potential

This racial trait applies to all Human characters, starting off the game at maximum level. A human’s firm resolve grants them higher ATK against foes. Your character acquires bonus P. ATK (Physical Attack) and CRIT RESIST (Crit Resistance).

Do note that this racial trait does not provide much offensive gains to a Human Mystic due to Mystic being Magic Attack oriented. However, the Crit Resistance will boost your survivability when fighting against the Rogue Classes which are armed with skills that enhance their Crit Rates.

Mage Weapon Mastery

Increases Atk when a Staff is equipped. This will come in handy as Mystics can only wield Staves. An important skill to prioritise investing skill points into first, since it enhances your damage output.

Robe Mastery

Increases Attack Damage when Robe-armor is equipped. This effect stacks up to 4 times. This armor mastery skill is unique as it grants offensive bonuses. The armory mastery skills of the other two classes (Warrior and Rogue) grant defensive bonuses. Mystics can only wear robe armour. Each piece of robe equipment adds 1 stack to the Robe Mastery buff – Headgear, Robes, Gloves and Boots are the available slots.

Skill Build Recommendations and Guide

You will probably have enough skill points to max out almost most of your skills for the early game. However, this is not optimal at all. Upon unlocking your Secondary Class, you will realize your Secondary Class skills require at least 110 skill points to level. On top of that, there are multiple Secondary Class skills that you need or want to invest into. As a Free-To-Play player for Lineage 2 Revolution, it is crucial you follow the optimal skill build to maximize the utility of skill points, which are hard to come by.

For Passive Skills, you should be prioritizing both Mage Weapon Mastery and Robe Mastery. Both grants you with substantial damage boosts.

For Active Skills, you should not level them beyond Level 3, especially if you have no problems clearing new content. If you find yourself breezing through the storyline, conserve as much skill points as you can by even keeping Active Skills at Level 1.

How Good is Human Mystic in Lineage 2 Revolution?

The Human Race provides you with a good mix of decent defense and health. You will be tankier than Mystics of other races without sacrificing too much damage output. As a Human Mystic, you are able to finish off monsters at a fast pace in Lineage 2 Revolution. Your basic attacks are like arced lighting bolts, which will bounce off up to 3 enemies. This enables you to grind faster, despite having weaker single target damage. This is why Human Mystics are especially useful in Elite Dungeons. Elite Monsters tend to spawn around you, and you can good amount of multi-target damage.
