Dark Elf Warrior Guide: Skill Build

The Dark Elf race in Lineage 2 Revolution comes with stats distribution that is geared towards high Crit chance and high base Attack, moderate levels of Evasion and MP. The Dark Elf is lacking stats for HP and Defense. A Dark Elf Warrior is capable of dealing devasting critical strikes to his enemies, whilst avoiding damage. However, a Dark Elf Warrior is not a tanky character by nature and is unable to withstand too many blows. A Dark Elf Warrior can choose between two Secondary Classes at Level 31 – Shillien Knight (tank) or the Bladedancer (DPS). This guide discusses Level 1 -31 as a Dark Elf Warrior, as well as the optimal skill build that you should follow.

Active Skills

Energy Blast [Any Weapon]

Creates a concentration of energy in front and detonates it to deal damage to enemies. This is your basic class skill and provides great utility in leveling up faster due as it offers a good source of damage.

Power Strike [Sword & Shield, Spear, Dual Swords Only]

Dark Elf Warrior Guide - Power Strike

The Dark Elf Warrior swings the weapon in a large arc to deal damage and knockdown enemies. The skill offers a basic knockdown for your class, which allows you to get a few hits in on a target whilst they are disabled. This helps immensely during the leveling phase.

Rush Impact [Sword & Shield, Spear, Dual Swords Only]

Dark Elf Warrior Guide - Rush Impact

The Dark Elf Warrior rushes toward enemies to deal damage and knock them down. Rush Impact is another crowd control ability in your toolkit. The knockback effect will prove to be handy while you are training.

Passive Skills

Dark Elven Potential

Their splendid battle senses grant them higher Crit. Rate when attacking enemies. This Dark Elf racial helps you to crit more often, resulting in a higher DPS and training speed.

Warrior Weapon Mastery

This passive ability increases Attack, whenever you equip a Sword & Shield, Spear or Dual Swords. This is an important passive as it raises the overall Attack of your weapon. On top of that, it also grants you a nice Combat Power (CP) boost.

Heavy Armor Mastery

The Dark Elf Warrior reduces damage taken when Heavy Armor is equipped. This effect stacks up to 4 times – each slot of Heavy Armor equipped contributes to 1 stack. An important skill to have, as a Dark Elf Warrior is squishy due to the race’s lack of Defense. Note that instead of increasing Defense, this skill reduces the damage taken. Investing into this passive ensures you can soak more hits and allows you to be at the frontlines in battles.

Skill Build Recommendations and Guide

As you level up as a Dark Elf Warrior, you will quickly come to realise that you will have sufficient Skill Points to level up all of your skills. However, this is not the most ideal skill build that you should follow. You should save up some Skill Points to be invested after you have unlocked your Secondary Class at Level 31. These Secondary Class skill points would cost a minimum of 110 Skill Points.

If you find the early game content to be a stroll in the park, you can opt to keep your Active skills at Level 1 to conserve Skill Points. This allows you to focus on leveling your Passive skills to the max level. If you decided to eventually pick the Bladedancer secondary class, you can choose to not invest into Heavy Armor Mastery. You can subsequently invest those saved Skill Points into Bladedancer skills down the road.

However, if you find content a little too challenging, you can also invest some Skill Points into your Active skills. Do not level your Active skills past Level 3 no matter what. You will be well rewarded for your discpline during the late game of Lineage 2 Revolution.

How Good is Dark Elf Warrior in Lineage 2 Revolution?

The Dark Elf Warrior has good offensive capabilities, despite being weak to attacks in Lineage 2 Revolution. His Secondary Classes, the Shillien Knight and Bladedancer are both great end-game classes. The Shillien Knight offers great survivability by lifestealing while attacking enemies. He also offers crowd control for the team to deal extra damage in party settings. The Bladedancer also possesses strong offensive skills that comes with crowd control effects. These disables are potent for killing higher leveled monsters.

For solo content, you should not be facing any trouble as a Dark Elf Warrior. Your strong offensive capabilities will probably ensure that you down bosses before your inability to tank heavy hits surfaces as a real problem.
