The Dwarf Race in Lineage 2 Revolution is endowed with relatively high Base HP and Physical Defense as compared to the other three races. Further, she is also more competent at soaking up damage. A Dwarf Mystic has two paths to choose for a Secondary Class, the Dwarf Battle Mage or Dwarf Sage.
Active Skills
Flame Strike
You launch a flaming ball that deals massive explosion damage and knock down enemies. This is an Area of Effect (AoE) ability that inflicts knockdown for efficient crowd control. The disable on this skill is invaluable in training and in the Arena.
Wind Strike
The Dwarf Mystic brings forth a gust of wind that penetrates enemies in a straight line of attack. This is another skill that inflicts good AoE damage to multiple targets. Although this ability comes with no Crowd Control (CC) benefits, it significantly speeds up the training process.
Passive Skills
Dwarven Potential
Your body is blessed by the heavens, granting you with high base HP. This passive also grants you a bonus towards your P. Def and Max HP. You will start off with this racial passive a max level.
Mage Weapon Mastery
You benefit from increased Magic Attack whenever you equip a staff. This is probably the most important Passive skill for Dwarf Mystics. It grants you a significant increase in your Magic Attack per point of investment into this passive. Given that your main weapon is a staff in Lineage 2 Revolution, you should benefit from this passive perpetually.
Robe Armor Mastery
This passive grants you an increase in Attack Damage when you equip Robe Armor. Note that this buff can stack up to 4 times. Each slot of Robe Armor that you equip grants a single stack of the buff. This passive is the key factor behind dealing more damage as a Dwarf Battle Mage or healing for more as a Dwarf Sage.
Skill Build Recommendations and Guide
The skills of the Dwarf Mystic are all very important and are worth investing in even at high skill levels. During your journey of leveling up in Lineage 2 Revolution as a Dwarf Mystic, you will gain more than sufficient skill points to spend all in your primary skills. We strongly discourage you from doing so, as the subsequent Secondary Class skills cost 110 skill points. Make sure you set aside some skill points for pursuing Secondary Class abilities subsequently.
For a start, prioritize investments into Passive Skills. Both Mage Weapon Mastery and Robe Armor Mastery are equally important. In the early game, Mage Weapon Mastery is more effective per skill point as its increments come via flat values, versus Robe Armor Mastery’s which increases via a percentage. If you are looking for ease of clearing early game content, we recommend that you simply level Mage Weapon Mastery.
Pertaining to Active Skills, it would be ideal if you keep them at merely Level 1. This allows you to save up skill points for abilities that come with your Secondary Classes. If you face difficulties training and killing bosses before unlocking your Secondary Class, you can upgrade your Active Skills to a maximum of Level 3. These skills do not really serve much purpose in the later part of the game, so do not invest too much into them.
How Good isĀ Dwarf Mystic in Lineage 2 Revolution?
The Dwarf Mystic may not seem as strong in the early game as she does not have much offensive capabilities or interesting skills. However, you will shine upon unlocking your Secondary Class. Both the Dwarf Battle Mage and the Dwarf Sage are both great classes. The Dwarf Battle Mage excels at dealing damage to multiple enemies in, while the Dwarf Sage provides ample healing and defense boost to party members. Endure the slow early game as a Dwarf Mystic, your turn to shine will come only as a Secondary Class.
