The Elf race has an interesting backstory in Lineage 2 Revolution. Einhasad formed elves from water, making them agile and light on their feet. They are protected by water and worship Eva, the goddess of water. Lore aside, the Elf race comes with High Evasion, MP, Crit rate and Attack. However, they are lacking in HP and Def. Taking into account this racial nuance, this guide focuses on the Elf Warrior. Note that the Elf Warrior can select two Secondary Class specialization at Level 31 – Templar Knight or Swordsinger. We run through the basic Passive and Active Skills of the Elf Warrior as follow, as well as the optimal skill build that you should follow in Lineage 2 Revolution.
Active Skills
Energy Blast [Any Weapon]
Creates a concentration of energy in front and detonates it to deal damage to enemies. Warrior of every race possess this Area of Effect (AoE) skill, that allows you to damage multiple targets while grinding through content.
Power Strike [Sword & Shield, Spear, Dual Swords Only]
The Elf Warrior swings the weapon in a large arc to deal damage and knockdown enemies. This provides great utility for crowd control during whilst you are leveling. It allows you land extra hits whilst enemies are disabled from your knockdown.
Rush Impact [Sword & Shield, Spear, Dual Swords Only]
Rushes toward enemies to deal damage and knock them down. Yet another crowd control skill, which is especially potent in the Arena. Rush impact can affect multiple enemies especially if they are positioned in a single line.
Passive Skills
Elven Potential
Agile movements allow them to have a high Evasion against enemy attacks. This Elf racial trait gives a bonus to Evasion, Speed, and M. Atk. It starts off at Max Level. As an Elf Warrior, you will not fully benefit from this passive buff, but the Evasion and Speed does bolster your survivability and DPS output.
Warrior Weapon Mastery
Increases Atk when you equip a Sword & Shield, Spear, Dual Swords. This passive gives a considerable boost to your attack. This is a passive that you should be prioritizing leveling as it helps a ton when it comes to grinding.
Heavy Armor Mastery
Decreases damage taken when Heavy Armor is equipped. This effect can stack up to 4 times. Each piece of Heavy Armor you equip adds to 1 stack of the buff. This is a critical passive that you need to pay attention too. After all, an Elf is naturally weaker in the health and defense department – not ideal for a warrior. This passive nullifies your weakness to a certain extent.
Skill Build Recommendations and Guide
In the early phases of the game, you will probably obtain sufficient Skill Points to level your skills prior to Level 31. That is something we strongly advise against. This is because at Level 31, you will unlock your Secondary Class specialization. Each Secondary Class skill costs at least 110 skill points per skill and you would want to have Skill Points saved up for this.
Assuming you are not looking to spend any money on the game itself, you should only invest skill points into Warrior Weapon Mastery and Heavy Armor Mastery to bolster your basic attacks and defense points. Only when you are struggling with in-game content, should you consider leveling the skills to Level 2, or even Level 3. You should never level them past Level 3 though, you will be left with insufficient Skill Points for the late game content.
How Good is Elf Warrior in Lineage 2 Revolution?
Evident from the Elf’s stats distribution for Lineage 2 Revolution, you will notice that she lacks health and defense. This creates a challenging situation for a warrior since it is a melee class, that attacks up close. You might struggle with a fair bit of early game content. However, your time to shine comes after you have unlocked your Secondary Class specialization at Level 31. This is when your increases damage output as an Elf Warrior really shows.
As an Elf Warrior, you are able to use your skills more often due to a larger mana pool. You also put out more damage than the Human Warrior and the Dwarf Warrior. For more information on the Secondary Classes at Level 31, check out our guides on the Temple Knight (Sword and Shield wielding), or Swordsinger (Dual Sword or Spear wielding).
