Elf Swordsinger Guide: Skill Build

An Elf Warrior can choose between two Secondary Class specializations at Level 31 – the Temple Knight (Tank) or the Swordsinger (DPS). This guide focuses the Elf Swordsinger, who can either wield the Spear or Dual Swords in Lineage 2 Revolution. However, it is recommended to use Dual Swords as the passive skills boosts the attack of Dual Swords. Coupled with an Elf’s high base attack and crit rate, the your damage output will be very high.

Active Skills

Sonic Blaster [Spear, Dual Swords Only]

Elf Swordsinger Guide - Sonic Blaster

Fires the sword aura forward to deal damage to distant enemies. This is your basic and most used farming skills. It has a large multiplier which results in a huge amount of damage being dealt.

Sonic Storm [Spear, Dual Swords Only]

Elf Swordsinger Guide - Sonic Storm

Fires a sword aura forward that ultimately explodes, damages, and knocks down enemies. This skills comes equipped with a pretty large damage multiplier as well. This ability also acts as a disable skill, with a knockdown of 2.5 seconds. On top of that, has a relatively short cooldown of 20 seconds. A handy skill that allows you to output substantial damage whilst your enemies are disabled.

Song of Vitality [Spear, Dual Swords Only]

Elf Swordsinger Guide - Song of Vitality

Increases Max HP of you and your party members. Provides a nice health boost to your party members to for added survivability. As an Elf with low base HP, this skill will prove to be beneficial.

Song of Hunter [Spear, Dual Swords Only]

Elf Swordsinger Guide - Song of Hunter

Increases Crit. Rate of you and your party members. Provides additional offensive capabilities for you and your party, increasing your and your party’s damage output further.

Passive  Skill

Esprit

Gains a chance to increase critical rate while attacking (10% chance for added crit rate while attacking). The buff last a total of 6 seconds. At Level 1, it grants a 4% boost to critical rate.

Dual Weapon Mastery

This passive increases youir Attack power when wielding Dual Swords. This is the reason why you should be equipping Dual Swords over the Spear/Polearm for an Elf Swordsinger. Since Dual Swords boasts a higher attack than Spears/Polearms, it is only natural to equip Dual Swords for a Sword Singer. When you have a SR weapon that is enhanced to a very high level, your weapon will have a very high attack. Even though the passive only grants a 1% boost at Level 1, it will grant a massive boost to damage. In fact, even an S weapon would already see very noticeable gains from this passive.

Attack Aura

This grants you and your party an attack buff when you and your party members are located in the same area. Another great party skill, adding on to your team’s damage output in group content.

Skill Build Recommendations and Guide

It is recommened that you prioritize leveling Passive skills over Active skills, though be sure to level up ALL skills to Level 1 first.

For Passive Skills, continue to level your Warrior Weapon Mastery and it will provide a great damage boost. You will also need to level Heavy Armor Mastery for additional survivability. Dual Weapon Mastery should be leveled situationally as you gain only marginal bonus from the added percentage damage. Dual Weapon Mastery should only be leveled up if you possess a very strong weapon that benefits more from percentage increase rather than flat stat increase. You can also consider skilling Attack Aura if you do a lot of party play content. Esprit does not grant that much of a crit rate boost at max level, considering that an Elf’s crit rate is already naturally high.

For Active Skills, make sure you prioritise getting both buff skills as they will help you tremendously in your leveling journey. We recommend getting Song of Vitality if you find yourself lacking health, and Song of Hunter if you need incremental damage.

How Good is Elf Swordsinger in Lineage 2 Revolution?

The Elf  Swordsinger is an excellent party player in Lineage 2 Revolution, as her skills allow her to increase her party’s offensive capabilities. You grant your party members added critical chance and attack, as well as added health points that will be useful in group content. When it comes to solo content such as dungeons and PvP, an Elf Swordsinger might run into a little difficulty due to a lack of health. However, your damage output should be rather high and you should have little issues in killing enemies quickly in Lineage 2 Revolution.
