In Lineage 2 Revolution, when your Elf Mystic reaches Level 31 and completed the 7 Class Change quests, you can choose between one of two Secondary Classes. The Elf Spellsinger (DPS) or Elf Elder (Healer). This guide will focus on the Elf Spellsinger’s skills in the game, as well as the optimal skill build to follow. The Elf Spellsinger stands out amongst the other classes as one that has short cooldowns on her skills, as well as the ability to dish out sustained damage. However, do note that she does not have the highest of DPS output in the game. This is compensated by the fact that she can slow enemies down, as well as heal herself. If your party requires a class with a mix of good crowd control, support utility and moderate DPS, the Elf Spellsinger will be a good choice in Lineage 2 Revolution.
Active Spells
Ice Spear
The Spellsinger launches an ice spear in front to deal powerful damage and slow affected enemies. This results in some slight crowd control, as the enemy movement speed is slow, making it harder for them to close the gap. This provides great synergy with your Frost Power (see below), allowing you to gain an attack buff.
Blizzard
The Spellsinger summons a snowstorm around yourself that attacks the area and deals damage. Affected enemies will be slowed and stunned. This is your crowd control skill that stuns enemies affected by it. Since the ability applies a slow to targets, Blizzard will allow for great synergy with Frost Power (see below), as you gain an attack buff when you attack enemies that are slowed.
Passive Skill
Wizard Light Heal
Has a chance to recover slight amount of health while attacking. 10% chance to regenerate a small bit of health. Although the % chance might seem small, but it really helps boost your survivability in the long run.
Frost Power
Chance to gain attack buff when attacking enemies that are affected by movement speed debuff. This is where your active skills will help you out. When you attack enemies affected by slow, you can gain additional attack buffs to train hit harder and train faster.
Death Whisper
The Spellsinger increases critical hit damage for you and your party in the vicinity. This is a great skill for your party as critical strikes naturally result in higher than normal damage being dealt.
Skill Build Recommendations and Guide
In general, we recommend that you prioritize skilling Passive over Active skills. However, prior to that, do make sure that you invest at least a skill point in every skill in your toolkit. The first level of skill would give the most value per skill point invested.
For Passive Skills, make sure that you continue to level Mage Weapon Mastery and Robe-Armor Mastery as those will continue to increase your overall damage output. Following that, you would want to level up either Frost Power or Wizard Light Heal depending on whether you need more damage or more healing.
For Active Skills, Blizzard would do more good for you since the crowd control does help you deal with enemies easily. If you have excess skill points to spare, you can certainly raise your damage output by leveling up Ice Spear subsequently.
How Good is Elf Spellsinger in Lineage 2 Revolution?
The Elf Spellsinger offers great synergy amongst the skills at her disposal. She is also able to bolster her own survivability due to self-heal from attacking targets. The Elf Spellsinger is more suited for party content, rather than playing solo. She offers a good balance of crowd control, as well as moderate damage output.
In solo play, you might find her facing some challenge in clearing content due to her lack of health and defensive stats. 1v1 against bosses or monsters are really not her strong suit. Try to stick to party-related content, as that is where an Elf Spellsinger really shines.
