Dwarf Warrior Guide: Skill Build

The Dwarf race in in Lineage 2 Revolution is blessed with an insanely high base HP and P. Def, at the expense of high offensive stats. The Dwarf race is ideal for a Supporting Class as the Dwarf subclasses comes with unique skills that are able to support party play. Given the above, the Dwarf Warrior is built naturally tanky. In Lineage 2 Revolution, a Dwarf  Warrior can choose between two Secondary Classes at Level 31 – Dwarf Guardian (tank) or the Dwarf Slayer (DPS). This guide focuses playing as a Dwarf Warrior from Level 1-31, as well as the ideal skill build that you should follow.

Active Skills

Energy Blast [Any Weapon]

Creates a concentration of energy in front and detonates it to deal damage to enemies. This is one of the three available skills you have to dish out burst damage and expedite your training process. This skill is capable of hitting multiple enemies.

Power Strike [Sword & Shield, Spear, Dual Swords Only]

Dwarf Warrior Guide - Power Strike

Swings the weapon in a large arc to deal damage and knockdown enemies. This skill provides you with knockdown effect on the opponent and helps you land in additional hits while they are disabled. A particularly useful skill when combating difficult monsters and in PvP settings.

Rush Impact [Sword & Shield, Spear, Dual Swords Only]

Dwarf Warrior Guide - Rush Impact

Rushes toward enemies to deal damage and knock them down. Another CC skill which also does pretty decent damage. The knockdown will provide you with additional time to land hits on the disabled opponent. Try not to stack the 2 skills together to overlap the disable.

Passive Skills

Warrior Weapon Mastery

Increases Atk, when you equip a Sword & Shield, Spear, Dual Swords. This passive will help you gain a Atk stats at s table rate per level. An important skill that needs to be prioritized.

Heavy Armor Mastery

Decreases damage taken when Heavy Armor is equipped. This effect stacks up to 4 times. Each slot of heavy armor you equip leads to a single stack of the buff. The ability bolsters your ability to tank damage. Even though a Dwarf Warrior comes with naturally high Def. and HP, leveling this passive allows you to be able to tank the heaviest of hits in the game.

Dwarven Potential

Their bodies are blessed by the heavens, presenting them with high HP. Grants bonuses to P. Def and Max HP. You will be starting off with this racial trait at max level.

Skill Build Recommendations and Guide

As you progress through the early game as a Dwarf Warrior, you will come to find that you have more than sufficient skill points to level all your active and passive abilities to the maximum level. We strongly urge you not to do so, as this is sub-optimal. This is because it is essential for you to save up skill points for investing into the skills of your Secondary Class, after you have reached Level 31. Do note that each level of skill for your Secondary Class will cost at least 110 skill points.

For a start, you need to prioritize the leveling of Warrior Weapon Mastery and Heavy Armor Mastery to the maximum levels. If you are building more offensively for the late game, you can consider keeping Heavy Armor Mastery at Level 1, and save the skill points for the late game.

We also urge you not to level up the Active Skills, as they do not scale as well into the late game. These active skills will also be made redundant the moment you unlock your Secondary Class as a Dwarf Warrior. Stick to this approach unless you are lacking damage for progressing through the storyline content. In such a case, make sure you do not invest beyond Level 3 of your active skills.

How Good is Dwarf Warrior in Lineage 2 Revolution?

In Lineage 2 Revolution, the Dwarf Warrior capable of tanking damage well, at the expense of doing less damage. The stats distribution of the Dwarf race, makes it the most ideal Tank class. The only issue that you might face, is the lack of damage in solo content to kill bosses fast enough. If you are interested in being the ultimate tank, you can eventually choose to be a Dwarf Guardian. Should you choose the DPS path, the Dwarf Slayer boasts added survivabilty over all other DPS classes, at the expense of lower DPS output.
