At Level 31 in Lineage 2 Revolution, a Dwarf Rogue has two Secondary Classes to choose from. You can opt to be the Dwarf Scavenger (Dagger-Wielding) or the Dwarf War Ranger (Bow Wielding).
This skill build guide is focused on the Dwarf Scavenger. We will discuss the optimal skill build that one should consider when playing a Dwarf Scavenger in Lineage 2 Revolution. She is a melee-ranged Rogue that excels at decimating enemies with a high movement speed.
She is able to output significant damage over time with her poison attacks, which is a respectable source of additional damage to poisoned targets. In addition, she offers a unique ability that grants her and her party members an Adena Gain buff.
Active Skills
Blade Rush
The Dwarf Scavenger charges forward, slicing through foes. This ability deals decent damage, but also places a debuff on targets for 10 seconds. The debuff makes targets more vulnerable to critical attacks, allowing you an increased chance of landing critical strikes on affected targets.
Sonic Star
You move swiftly in a pentagram shape while attacking enemies. All affected enemies have their Speed decreased for 10 seconds, in addition to being silenced for 5 seconds (skills disabled). This ability will prove most helpful in the arena due to the silence effect. A foe that is unable to use any abilities is largely a non-threat.
Adena Search
This ability buffs your character allowing the discovery of more Adena during battle. On top of that, it grants increased Speed, in addition to inflicting slow and poison debuffs on enemies. The buff last for a total of 60 seconds, and has a cooldown of 50 seconds.
Passive Skills
Esprit
This passive grants the Dwarf Scavenger a chance to obtain a buff that increases critical rate following a successful evasion of an attack. Upon evading an attack, your character gains a 10% chance to increase critical rate by 4%. This passive synergises well with Rogue Armor Mastery, as it grants additional DPS from the higher critical rates.
Lucky Fatality
This passive skill raises the Critical Rate and Damage when attacking enemies that are slowed. It provides synergies with abilities that slow your opponents – such as Sonic Star and Adena Search. Although the increase in critical rate is not very significant, you do obtain a substantial 15% Atk buff at level 1. Besides, a properly built Dward Scavenger will have her targets poisoned most of the time, meaning high uptime on this passive.
Quickstep
This ability buffs the movement speed of the Dwarf Scavenger and her party members in proximity. Would say this is not a important skill to dedicate resources too. However, it would be helpful in specific scenarios such as avoiding a boss’ ability.
Skill Build Recommendations and Guide
Would recommend prioritizing investing into Passive abilities over Active abilities in the long run. However, do make sure you at least skill all your Secondary Class skills to level 1 first, as the first level provides great value for your investment.
Regarding Passive Skills, continue to level up the Rogue Weapon Mastery, as well as Light Armor Mastery. It is also viable if you like to skip Light Armor Mastery, in order to invest into leveling Esprit. Subsequently, you should be leveling up Lucky Fatality as a Dwarf Scavenger, since you will be attacking targets who are poisoned almost all the time.
When it comes to Active Skills, focus on Adena Search as it helps you gain Adena at a faster rate and inflict poison debuff to enemies. This synergizes well with Lucky Fatality, helping you maximize your damage output. Moreover, the duration of Adena Search lasts longer than the cooldown of the skill. The remaining Active Skills are up to personal preference, only invest into them if you feel you require additional damage.
How Good isĀ Dwarf Scavenger in Lineage 2 Revolution?
The Dwarf Scavenger is a unique class, characterized by her Adena Search skill and the ability to slow enemies. She is equipped with skillsets that allow her to dish out additional damage to affected enemies. This is why the Dwarf Scavenger can deal high damage despite having a lower CP.
Pertaining to Solo Play, the Dwarf Scavenger is capable of soaking hits from bosses well, in addition to outputting sufficient damage to kill the boss in time. She is a class to be respected in Arena as well, due to her ability to Silence enemies. She is capable of taking out foes in Arena with her damage output, whilst they are still under the Silence debuff.
When it comes to Party Play, the Dwarf Scavenger does not provide much offensive tools to the party. However, her Adena Gain buff does apply to party members, and provides a boost in farming Adena to everyone. She performers best with a dedicated tank protecting her, allowing her to deal consistent damage output without worrying too much about her own health.
