When you have leveled up to Level 31 as a Dark Elf Rogue, you can select between two Secondary Class specializations in Lineage 2 Revolution. After completing the class change quest, you can choose to be a Abyss Walker (dagger-wielding) or Phantom Ranger (bow-wielding). This guide focuses on playing as an Dark Elf Abyss Walker, covering his skill sets and optimal skill build in Lineage 2 Revolution. The Dark Elf Abyss Walker boast rapid Attack Speed and is capable of inflicting bleed damage. He is able to inflict additional Crit damage to bleeding targets.
Active Skills
Sting
Attacks enemies in front, dealing damage and causing them to bleed. A portion of the damage is applied while ignoring Def. This skill provide great synergy with your passive ability, allowing you to dish out additional damage to bleeding enemies.
Razor Rain
Attacks nearby enemies to deal damage, briefly stunning them, and making them bleed. An area-of-effect skill that is capable of disabling multiple targets at the same time, as well as apply bleeding debuff to multiple enemies. Provide further synergies with your passive abilities.
Vicious Stance
Temporarily increases critical damage and maximizes Crit. Chance for 4 seconds. In essence, you obtain a substantial DPS buff for a period of 4 seconds. At Level 1, your critical damage output is doubled, giving you the ability to burst down enemies within a small time frame. Do note that the maximum critical chance of this skill does not imply a 100% crit chance.
Passive Skill
Seek Blood
Reduces target’s Defense and Crit. Resistance when attacking the target that has less than 50% HP. When attacking an enemy with less than half health, your target is more prone to getting struck by a critical hit. This skill comes with an added 10% defense reduction at Level 1.
Critical Power
Increases Critical Damage and Attack Power when attacking bleeding enemies. At Level 1, this ability grants additional 30% Crit. Damage and 50% Atk. boost. This skill synergises with your Actives skills well, as they inflict the bleeding debuff.
Quickstep
Automatically gives you and your party members in the vicinity a movement speed buff. This passive grants a 10% speed boost at Level 1. This skill is highly optional, and only provides utility when kiting bosses or chasing players.
Skill Build Recommendations and Guide
You should look to prioritize passive skills over active skills. Be sure to obtain 1 Level of all your skills, before shifting your priority to the important skills as follows.
For Passive skills, continue to level up Rogue Weapon Mastery as you get obtain substantial attack boost from it. Only in the event you require additional survivability, should you invest some skill points into Light Armor Mastery. Otherwise, you should move on to leveling Seek Blood over Critical Power. This is because the chance of inflicting the bleeding debuff from Critical Power is small. Conversely Seek Blood guarantees 100% uptime on every new target below 50% health.
We do not really recommend investing too much into Active skills, as the benefits from passive skills are far greater. Sting could provide some utility though, by giving additional Armor Penetration against tanky monsters/players. Should you have excessive skill points, you could look to invest into this ability.
